Other interesting testimonies in apprentices´words:

Olivia’s Story - LEISURE, TRAVEL AND TOURISM, MARKETING

“Having registered with the Skills Company to help find a creative role, I jumped into the 9-5 lifestyle with Marketing Manchester

and I have flourished. Less than a year into my Apprenticeship, I’m already managing my own projects, including creating a new visitors’ map for Manchester, and receiving a great salary on top of it. I love my role and the working life experience I’ll be able to take with me to the next stage of my career”.

Chris’ Story - MARKETING

Louise’s Story - ENGINEERING

Having studied for A levels at Cheadle College, I was determined to find an engineering role with a large and attractive company. Openreach, a BT Group business, fit the bill perfectly and I was soon applying for a role as an apprentice engineer through the government’s Apprenticeships website.

Today, you’ll find me helping other big businesses install complex communication systems or working on the underground system, whilst continuing to gain qualifications through my employer training as an Openreach Apprentice.

Nicola’s Story - FINANCE AND LAW

Despite not studying for an A-level in Law, Nicola is forging a career in the legal profession at Horwich Farrelly’s Manchester offices. The firm’s highly successful apprenticeship scheme offers young people an alternative to the traditional degree route by delivering hands-on experience, underpinned by a recognised legal qualification.
